If the copper pipe has a pinhole-sized leak, cut and remove i/2 inch of it before soldering on an ordinary pipe coupling as a repair technique. This can be another fast solution for a copper wire pinhole. It should be noted that although soldering isn't tricky, it must be done correctly to avoid any leaks. For added safety, a heat shield is recommended in confined space regions. This can be achieved if the problem does not require professional attention from leaking and pipe repair specialists.

From time to time, a tiny pinhole appears in the copper pipes. However, if this little hole is not fixed promptly, it can damage significantly. The hole might allow water to seep into other areas, resulting in mold and rot. So, what are your options if the leaking copper pipe leaves a pinhole? If the leak does not need skilled pipe burst repair assistance, you may try patching the hole with a pencil.

To begin, seal the water supply so that water does not run through the pipe while you work. Locate the pinhole now that you've inspected the whole pipe. Then, using a pencil, finely sharpen it. Insert the pencil's tip into the hole and break it off if necessary to remain fixed in place and cover up the hole.

Now, to dry the Copper wire pipe, take care not to knock off the pencil from the pipe while doing so. After drying, wrap duct tape around the entire pipe, including the pencil tip, to seal it. Tip: To get the highest-quality solder joints, make sure all inner pipes are completely dry. To absorb any water droplets that remained in the pipe just before soldering, stuff a cotton rag into each pipe. Ensure a faucet is open above that level to prevent pressure from building up and dripping more water into your repair.
